The Fujitsu fi-4340C also offers the ability to scan at up to 40 pages per minute in simplex (76ipm duplex) and 16 pages per minute in colour (29ipm duplex). The ADF has a capacity of 100 sheets and can scan from A8 size up to A4. The scanner offers users the option of a JPEG compression board that can be installed in the third party slot.

  An imprinter is also available that allows backside printing of up to 40 characters in a line to confirm that the document has been scanned.

  The standard 100 sheet A4 document feeder also includes Fujitsu’s unique infra red double feed detection feature which stops the scanner in the instance of a double feed. A SCSI-2 interface slot is as standard with the potential of the IPC4D processing device to be installed.
